If your FieldLab is displaying this message, then the date & time displayed on the FieldLab screen and in saved data sets could be incorrect or unavailable until the battery is replaced.
Clock Battery replacement must be done by an authorized Ralston Instruments repair center. Contact Ralston Instruments Customer Support for return instructions to send your FieldLab in for battery replacement.
Note: As a temporary workaround, you can set your FieldLab date and time by connecting it via USB to a computer running FieldLab Desktop. This will allow you to log data with the correct data and time appended to your data sets.
As long as the clock battery is depleted, the correct date and time will be lost when you power off the FieldLab and you will have to reset it each time you power the FieldLab back on.
